Our Project
Samuel Wardell and Arbe Chumala have created a series of mini-games playable on p5.party which utilize 2d physics. This includes having multiple different elements (IE Pool balls) interacting in a manner representative of reasonable physics. Our games will utilize a matter.js to facilitate the creation of graphics and a more enjoyable playing experience as opposed to focusing on the creation of a physics engine.
Needs To Have
- Realistics physics (collisions, elasticity, friction, gravity, etc.)
- At least 1 functioning p5.party game (uses room names to connect players)
- Playable graphics (minimal quality)
- Clear rule sets for every game
- Each game should be playable against another human player on the same device
- Gameplay should be true to the original game.
- Sound effects
Nice To Have
- 3+ games (likely all using similar physics)
- Customizable avatars
- Ability to "sign in" (match username with avatar settings and number of wins)
- Captivating graphics and visual effects
- Bots for games (if applicable)
- Mobile compatible
- Customizable avatars/li>
